Sunday

On Sunday morning Jonathon and I went with the youth group to help out with the St Vincent De Paul Doorknock Appeal. This went quite well; we split up into about four or five groups, and worked until around two o'clock. During this time we covered most of the area around our church. We then had lunch with the youth group, and called Mum to pick us up. The fun started here.

Mum, Dad, Thomas and Anthony were on their walk when we called, so we thought we'd walk home with them. Thomas and Anthony were riding their bikes, and on the way home we went down a hill. On the way down, Thomas's brakes broke, and he broke his arm. Unfortunately, he broke it quite badly, with both the bones in his forearm braking, one punching through the skin, and the other rotating. He has just left the hospital this morning, which is very good. Hopefully it should heal quite quickly.

Blood on the Rose

For those of you who don't know, I am the bass player in a band called Blood On The Rose. We have been going since last year, and have written five originals, all of which the entire band likes.

The sound is interesting, because the band members have different musical tastes; the guitarist likes Metallica, the singer likes punk, the drummer is kind of halfway, and I mainly like older music.

The band is planning to record onto a CD on Monday.
