Blood on the Rose

For those of you who don't know, I am the bass player in a band called Blood On The Rose. We have been going since last year, and have written five originals, all of which the entire band likes.

The sound is interesting, because the band members have different musical tastes; the guitarist likes Metallica, the singer likes punk, the drummer is kind of halfway, and I mainly like older music.

The band is planning to record onto a CD on Monday.

How many songs will you be recording? You have to send me a copy of it when you're done! :)

Yeah, we've recorded only four songs, because the tape player went stupid on the last song, but fortunately we got the best songs recorded before that. When we've added the vocals, we're going to put three songs on our band's myspace page.

Naturally you all get good seats, and I'm sure mum will be there headbanging with you:-)

Hi Alexander- You don't know me but I know your mum and Luke...

Your band sounds really neat-- make sure you post here how we can hear your recording. Who thought up the name?

My boys (who are 16 and 12) really like video game music. Kind of techno stuff. We tried to go to a video game concert with the Houston Symphony last month but it was sold out. It was interested watching the people as we stood in line as many were dressed as VG characters.. mostly gothic.

Nice blog!

Bye from Houston----
