Psalm 129, De Profundis

Psalm 129, De Profundis

Spero in Dominum sperat anima mea in verbum ejus;

Out of the depths I cry to thee, Lord, O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive to my voice of prayer.
If you should have preserved the memories of wicked deeds, O Lord, who, Lord, would be attentive?
But with you is pardon of sins, in order to serve you with reverence.
I hope in the Lord, my soul hopes in His word.
My soul looks to the Lord, more than the sentry the dawn.
More than the sentry the dawn, Israel looks for the Lord.
Because with the Lord there is mercy, and with him abundant redemption.
And He will redeem Israel our of all its iniquities.
