Last Saturday

Last Saturday was quite a full day; We were out almost the entire day. At about ten o'clock Jonathon and I were picked up for a birthday party a friend was having at the beach. The party was quite good, but the beach, or at least the water, was regrettably absolutely freezing. My hands actually turned blue for a little while. The party was quite a small one, just five people including the birthday boy and Jonathon and I. The other two we met for the first time, and I would say they are both nice, fun people.

After we got back at around four, we had to leave for a homeschooling dinner at five. That was also very enjoyable; we started of by talking with some friends, and then the little kids wanted me to play scarecrow with them, which was good, and then we had dinner. The dinner itself was good, because every family brought a dish, so there was a variety of tastes. After dinner and desert, I started dancing to the music that was playing, just for fun, and then the younger children decided to join me, and I became dj and dancer. That was quite enjoyable, though I was limited to only a few CD's (mainly Bee Gees). That lasted the whole night, and then we all wandered off home. All in all an excellent day.
